Google Docs

I’ve been using this for years now and it has always been my go to app for when I know I’ll be working on schoolwork while using both my IPad and laptop, or other situations. The ability to have access to my document without having to upload to a USB, pocket it, plug it in then download to the next device is a nice quality of life feature in addition to the constant auto saving. I might be using this for a while after this post (and I highly recommend this!)

The app version of Google Docs doesn’t sync with the website version on computer, making it impossible to edit my documents away from home.

Google Docs is overall great for writing, editing, etc. There is, however, a few concerns; • Including a larger color customization for the mobile apps. I find the color options aesthetically unpleasant and I’d prefer if we were given free reign to choose our own colors with the color picker. • My only other complaint is how bland the app itself looks. Furthermore if we were able to customize the theme such the app icon before you open it, the general colors presented in google docs before creating a document, etc. Or at least being given color schemes similar to that of tumblr. There are a ridiculously large amount of fonts, making it impossible to browse all of them, yet the mobile version doesn’t feature a color picker and app theme? Very disappointing.

Exactly what I was looking for to write my sermons.

I just wanted to ask that where is the Help Me Write button? I sometimes write on my dad’s computer and it has the help me write button. And then I go on Apple Arcade and then I see on the Google Docs pictures that there’s a Gemini button. So I’m wondering where the Gemini button is. (by the way, this is an eight-year-old writing this so please answer my question. Please please please please!

I recently used it and noticed there isn’t a way to create lines in the document on a phone. Maybe they can make it more clear on how to add drawings to a document.

On vacation recently I had to visit an ER. Just a few months ago I completed a medical resume. Once in the ER I handed the nurse my phone, and she was able to obtain all of my information quickly and accurately using my Google Doc.

I absolutely love using Google Docs for my work, especially when it comes to writing wedding scripts. One of my favorite features is how easy it is to share a document with my clients and let them make edits directly. It completely eliminates the back-and-forth process of sending revisions over and over. My clients can simply open the document, make any changes they need, and send it right back—done and seamless. Since weddings keep me very busy, this saves me so much time and keeps everything organized and stress-free. Honestly, if someone doesn’t have Google Docs, it just doesn’t feel as smooth of a process. And the fact that it’s completely free makes it even better. I love it and will probably never stop using it!

This product is unintuitive. Simply figuring out why I can’t print a doc is a pain, particularly if I’m using it on my phone. The reality is, workers in a host of industries that don’t otherwise need laptops are forced to access important info via Google Docs on their phones, but this product is terrible on a phone.
