Facebook Lite

It does okay. I can't read long captions because when I try to scroll through the writing it skips to the next Reel no matter how I try. And there's no actual way I can find to access the reels I've saved. There's a spot but it's all old stuff I don't remember but the thing I thought was handy and I'd save it for later is nowhere to be found. edit: I just got restricted for a month for posting about bra fitting advice when someone asked for it. this is what they choose to enforce?

I'm not enjoying this app. it is difficult to scroll through photos. I have attempted multiple times to turn the sound off for messaging but it is still harassing. I have turned the sound off in Facebook settings however I would have to turn the system volume off on my phone to not hear a sound when I send a message. the sound is completely unnecessary. I really hope they fix this bug soon.

It definitely uses less memory than the regular app and all the basic features are there, but I have an issue where every time I open the app, the nav bar is black and everything is pushed up into the notification/status bar. I have to close the app and open it again, then it will be normal until the next time I open it. Also, no support for fold phones. Half the screen is black if the phone is unfolded.

Constantly has an error when trying to see a listing. Have to select the item multiple times to get it to open. Now I can't seem to be able to click on a post or go to groups to go into a groups page without an error. Cleared cache and uninstalled a few times with no luck so I'm updating my post.

Crashing and Buggy. I only downloaded this because the main app is acting up with not being able to see comments, but I'd rather just not be on FB for a while instead. Incredibly frustrating, sometimes can comment just fine, but then sometimes, the keyboard won't load. Click on one post, no problem. Click another post, crash. Delete.

This app won't let me rate any Marketplace buyer. I see an option for ratin in the conversation, but when I click on it I get a message "can't open link." Sometimes when I click the rating button, it sends me back to Marketplace. Also there's no option for me to share my or other Marketplace listings using whatever method ! Very annoying 👎🏼

I consistently have errors, bugs, and lag with this horrible app. The most common thing I encounter is when trying to open a post, click on a link, or comment, it will load indefinitely and never open the link. I have to close and reopen the app, sometimes a handful of times, to get that functionality back. Of course by that point, the post is usually long gone.

All of a sudden, a couple of weeks ago, it seemed to have a lot of lag and lose connection to the FB server. the app would freeze while other apps still worked fine. Then, within the last week, I only see about 10 posts, and then it says I need to add friends to see more. I have hundreds of friends who actively post. If I log into the full version of FB, there are so many more posts. I used to prefer the smaller footprint of Lite, but now it's bigger than the normal FB app. What's going on?

Other posts show up in the middle of a post. This app is not allowing me to log out. I've had to delete it a few times just to log out. I click on "see more," and it won't open. Videos don't always play. Also, it may show 3 friends posts and a couple of pages then tells me that I need more friends. This morning, it only showed one page that I follow. It shows 5G uw on my phone, so I don't think it's my phone.

I really only use the app for the marketplace and when I use it, I randomly get a pop-up saying "Something went wrong" "Try again later". At first it runs fine, but then once I get the pop-up it pops up for almost everything I click on. The app is updated, and I've tried it with three different phones using android 13 and 16. A side note, it's annoying not being able to share listing I find with other people. Might be just a FB Lite thing, but still would be a cool feature!

The Lite version of the app is better than the full version. But Facebook itself is so bloated it's practically unusable. The worst part is that notifications seem to be completely broken. I only want notifications from a small, select group of my actual friends and groups that I care about. I can't get notifications for those. Instead I constantly get bombarded with nonsense notifications that I can't even disable properly because they're all mislabeled as Updates from Friends.

This app seriously pisses me off. I can't even begin to count how many times on numerous brands of phones, I have been in the middle of posting a reply to something, and it will just randomly restart, and everything I was about to post is lost. I would use a notepad app to mitigate this, but of course, it also doesn't let you run it in split window, and due to its annoying behavior, if you actually close it and open it up again, you won't have the same feed in front of you either. Grrrr!

The interface is better (cleaner, more visually appealing) than the full Facebook app, but it has issues. One of the biggest is that the "show most relevant first" option can be turned off in settings but the app still only displays a subset of comments, which can make it very frustrating and confusing when there's back and forth dialog in a thread of comments... they are out of order and maybe a third of the conversation is even visible. The post toggle for relevant vs all is missing entirely.
